Task Hunter is provided by Kevin Reynolds, trading as Task Hunter ("we", "us"). By using the service, you are entering into an agreement with Kevin Reynolds as the seller of the service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) and our Refund Policy, which offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the paid period. If a payment keeps failing for 60 days, your subscription is cancelled and your account moves to Individual Basic.
You must not use Task Hunter unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe others' intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (including malware, probing or scraping). You are responsible for your AI prompts and for checking AI output, which may be inaccurate.
Task Hunter and its software, documentation and branding remain our property. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
By creating an account or using Task Hunter, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you use Task Hunter on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that company to these terms.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for all activity that happens under your account. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
Accounts come in two types, Individual and Business. Individual accounts are for personal use. Business accounts add features such as contacts, in-app chat, message requests, the AI Planner and team tools. We may change which features belong to which account type.
Tasks, projects, goals, steps, notes, tags, shortcuts and messages you create in Task Hunter belong to you. By using the service, you give us the limited permission needed to store, display and back up that content so the app works for you across your devices.
You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or that violates someone else's rights. You must not use Task Hunter to harass or spam other people, including through contacts or team chat.
You agree not to misuse Task Hunter. This includes attempting to access other users' data, interfering with the service, reselling it, scraping it, or using it to build a competing product. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Task Hunter includes AI features, such as breaking work into steps and the AI Planner for Business accounts. AI output is a suggestion only. You review and approve every change before it is applied, and you remain responsible for anything you accept.
AI features can make mistakes or misunderstand your request. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Task Hunter can send push reminders about your items. Reminders depend on your device and browser settings and may not always arrive on time. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee.
By default, items you mark complete are permanently deleted after 6 months. You can choose a different period (1, 12 or 24 months) in Settings. When an item is reopened, its deletion clock restarts. Notes attached to a deleted item are removed with it. This deletion cannot be undone, so please keep your own backup of anything important.
We work hard to keep Task Hunter available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Task Hunter after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You can stop using Task Hunter and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. After termination, your data will be handled according to the deletion rules above.
Task Hunter is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or lost time arising from your use of the service.
Some places do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To understand how Task Hunter is used and to improve and grow it, we collect limited usage data. This includes when your account was created, your plan, the days you open the app, how many items, notes, goals and other features are used in total, AI requests, and interactions with our pricing and plan pages.
When you sign up we may record how you found Task Hunter, such as the website or link that referred you, and your optional answer to "How did you hear about us?". Pricing page visits and plan button clicks may be recorded even if you are not signed in.
This data is only viewed in aggregate by the Task Hunter team, is not sold, and is not used to read the content of your tasks, notes or messages.
Task Hunter is currently in beta (version V.0.5.00 Beta). Features may change, be unfinished, or contain bugs, and paid plans and pricing may change before general release.
