Task Hunter ("we", "us") is provided by Kevin Reynolds, trading as Task Hunter. Kevin Reynolds operates the Task Hunter app and website and is the data controller for the personal data described here.
Account data (name, email, sign-in credentials) — to create and secure your account (contract performance).
Content you create (tasks, projects, goals, notes, tags, shortcuts, messages, team posts) — to provide the service (contract performance).
Usage data (days active, feature counts, pricing page views, sign-up source, device and browser information, IP address) — to keep the service secure, fix problems and improve Task Hunter (legitimate interests).
Notification data (push subscription details, timezone, quiet hours) — to send the reminders you turn on (consent, withdrawable in Settings).
Support and demo requests (name, email, company, message) — to respond to you (legitimate interests).
Content you send to AI features is processed only to produce the response you asked for.
Service providers that host, store and process data for us (hosting, database, email delivery, AI processing).
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of paid plans, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle collects payment details directly; we never see your full card number.
Professional advisers (such as legal and accounting) and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
We keep account data while your account is active. Completed items are deleted automatically after the period you choose in Settings. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Billing records may be kept as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights; we respond within one month.
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation to protect your data.
We use only essential browser storage (to keep you signed in and remember preferences). We do not use advertising cookies.
